I support everything that Kevin Bohlin has shared with us, I do not intend to contradict Kevin in any way if it may appear so. But as christians, it is incumbent upon all of us to be environmentalists. But as christians I feel I must point out and raise awareness of the radical environmentalism agenda which we must reject. The radical environmental agenda devalues human life, prioritizing nature and animals above humans, and likens the human race on the earth to a parasite or cancer. Human activity on the planet is NOT destroying the earth, and although we are obligated to care for the earth, the notion that we must “save the earth” is absurd and humanistic in nature. The pains on the earth stem from the fall in the garden. God is not waiting for us to solve the problem on global warming. We are waiting for Him to solve the problem on the global curse of sin. The Bible says that creation groans and labors in birth panes from the sin that stems from Adam and Eve in the garden. The Earth will never begin to heal from any of our human solutions, but ONLY after Jesus returns and casts Satin into Hell for all of eternity. Fighting so called man-made-global-warming is not part of the great commission either. We need to be focused on saving the people, not the earth. We are to reconcile man and women to God, not trees, bushes, and animals. We should not believe in radical climate prediction models from man that tell us sea level will rise 20’ and there will be unceasing droughts, fires, etc. The only accurate weather prediction came from God, to Noah, warning him of the flood. In fact, over 700 international scientists have recorded a period of global cooling the past seven years, proving the previous climate predictions of global warming wildly wrong. The environmental movement of our age has grown so much out of proportion that many prominent evangelical leaders are now calling upon leaders of all major world religions to come together in our common thread to fight global warming, instead of making disciples and leading them to Christ. A few methodist churches have even called upon their congregation to “repent of their climate related sins”. Recently a Catholic cardinal said “this is a pagan religion… carbon offsets are the new pagan sacrifices of our day”. In fact radical environmentalism is turning into a religion. A notable Australian geologists, James Delingpole, recently said climate fear is “the new religion for urban populations which have lost their faith in Christianity. The IPCC report is their Bible. Al Gore and Lord Stern are their prophets.” Unfortunately, many of our western leaders share in some of this insanity. Secretary of Energy of the White House, Steven Chu said “science tells me for certain what the earth will be like 100 years from now”. Further, John Haldon, the science advisor of the current administration cowrote a book advocating forced abortion and sterilization on the common citizens as the final solution to curtailing human impact on the earth. Even the leaders of a G8 meeting agree by a non-verbal binding agreement to fight global warming by controlling the Earth’s temperature by 2 degrees. Meanwhile Africans in Uganda still think that bad weather is caused by the “angry gods”. Now who do you think is crazier, Africans that still think all bad weather is caused by their angry gods and perform rain dances, or world leaders who shake hands thinking they can control the earth’s thermostat by 2 degrees?

The sad part is that in many ways, this has become the pagan movement of our day. The truth of the matter is, is that carbon based energy, the wide use of it, is one of the greatest liberators of man kind in the history of the planet. Life use to be brutal and short before we introduced running water, electricity, hospitals and defibrillators, all as a result of carbon fuels. Life expectancy has increased and infant mortality has decreased in nations with wide use of carbon energies. I think if world leaders were to really care about all humans, we would lift many of the bans the world has set on third world nation, allowing them to mine for and burn their own coal and other carbon based energies, allowing them to come out of their life threatening poverty almost instantly. Because we do not allow many africans to mine and burn coal for fear of furthering global warming, they are denied the access to cheap electricity, condemning them further into their state of deathly-ill poverty. As a result most africans burn dung in mud huts for their primary source of energy, and portage their water from filthy swamps miles away.

India’s leaders have said it is immoral for them to consider any UN climate treaty policy by cutting emissions, as 40% of their residents live in poverty and can’t afford electricity. Any such policy limiting CO2 would directly deny many parts of India the essential cheap electricity they need to survive. Fighting so called green house gases always leads to global governance and hurts the poor and middle class. The Bible does mentions this exact scenario in the end time. Those fighting global warming want to tax the very same air that we exhale out of or mouths and plants breath in. They want to tax the same gas that is essential to life on earth, CO2. Essentially they would be taxing life and all of human activity if they has their will. Now thousands of scientists from high prestige climate groups are coming out and telling us that the science behind man made global warming is flawed and inaccurate. The solutions to man-made global warming will always lead to a one world government. All Gore argues over and over that pollution knows no borders, so we must come up with a global solution. I’ll quote the man directly “U.S. Climate Bill Will Help Bring About Global Governance”

I will spare you the rest, as I have made it a hobby of mine to follow current trends in environmentalism and could go on for hours. A lot of fear mongering exists in the environmental community and I felt it was important for me to remind everybody to retain their sanity in the mater.
