As the college ministry of Denton Bible Church, we seek to minister to college-aged students, primarily on the campuses of UNT, TWU, and surrounding junior colleges here in Denton. We’re committed to introducing as many students as possible to Jesus Christ, as well as assisting them in their spiritual growth.
We passionately believe that God has designed the local church as His primary vessel to reach a lost world for His Glory! College Life is a volunteer-intensive ministry; which means that we hold to the Ephesians 4:11-12 model of utilizing the few to equip the many to do the work of the ministry. Life was not meant to be lived on the sidelines- so it is our desire to empower as many students as possible to serve Christ effectively. We also believe that life change happens best in the context of community- so in all we do, from retreats… to mission trips… to weekly meetings… to small group bible studies…- Biblical-based community is the primary context for our ministry.
Our commitment to God, His church, and His Word is what makes our ministry so unique on our campuses.
