Jesus only spent 33 years on our earth, yet even with that short amount of time He was able to say to the Father in John 17:4, “I have glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do.” No one life, and no one mission has ever changed the face of human history like the life and ministry of Jesus, the Christ. This message seeks to explore three central aspects of Christ’s life and ministry while on earth, and draw appropriate implications for His followers.

Axcess: The Incarnation of Christ (09.18.07)

The idea of the 2nd member of the Triune Godhead (Jesus Christ) humbling Himself in the form of a human being, so that man could be reconciled back to God, is an overwhelming but amazing concept. This message seeks to explore why it was God came to earth, how it was God became a man, and the implications that come from this great event in human history.

There are literally hundreds of prophecies concerning the coming Messiah in the Jewish Bible (what we call the “Old Testament” of our Bible). Many of those prophecies were shown to be fulfilled by Jesus Christ in the New Testament. Yet with all those prophecies clearly pointing to Christ as the Messiah, many of the best interpreters missed it- and eventually wrote Jesus off as God’s promised Savior. This message seeks to explain the promises of Christ in the Old Testament as to why Jesus Christ is indeed the fulfillment of God’s prophesied plan to bring salvation to mankind.
